All 18-30 years old who enjoy pizza with your history: this event is for you!
Take a bite out of history with Tudor Place and explore a 19th century historic house at your own pace. Experience “Ancestral Spaces: People of African Descent at Tudor Place” that reimagines over 10 rooms and is a disruption to historic house convention.  “Ancestral Spaces” recovers the erased histories of the site’s enslaved and free Black community, positions descendants as decision-makers and establishes a narrative focused on resistance and community-building. Hear about the making of this community-based exhibition that embraces restorative justice.
