Sunday, July 26, 2020 marked the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, an integral piece of civil rights legislation which made it a violation of federal law to discriminate against people with disabilities. The History Center celebrated this anniversary by sharing stories from our collections that highlight the contributions of people with disabilities to Western Pennsylvania history.
