Learn about three Texas foremothers who shaped history and how to connect with your own chosen ancestors using the wisdom of the tarot.

About this event…
We have Barbara Jordan to thank for the first minimum wage law in Texas.

We have Sarah Weddington to thank for arguing and winning Roe v. Wade before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ladybird Johnson was a powerful force behind the scenes pushing for passage of the Civil Rights Act.

This tour will begin at the Texas State Cemetery, continue on to the Ladybird Johnson special exhibit at the LBJ Library and conclude with happy hour at Scholz Garten, a historic pub and storied gathering place for Texas politicians.

We will learn more about the lives of these incredible women and, using the archetypes of the tarot, apply lessons from their stories to our lives today.

Go home with ideas on how to select and connect with your own chosen ancestors.

Tour price includes:

Transportation via private coach
Admission to the LBJ Library
Your own “Chosen Ancestors” kit including a crystal and journaling prompts

Hosted by Becky Bullard, founder of the creative civic engagement organization Democrasexy. Becky was also co-host of the Texas politics podcast The Rabble.
