Join us in La Grange, Texas for “Ich bin ein Amerikaner”: a look into Independence Day celebrations on the Bluff over the years!

Explore self-guided special exhibits highlighting how the Bluff Schuetzenverein, a German-Texan marksmanship and social club, celebrated the 4th of July in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Bring your own picnic & take in the natural and historic scenery.

Then, continue the festivities from 10am-3pm on July 5th & 6th with living history demonstrations, a laser shooting range, ice cream making, historic games, & a flag-making craft.

Regular admission rates apply – $5 Adults, $2 Students, $3 Seniors, Free for 6 & Under.
