SUMMARY:Resilience Amid Resistance: Pay As You Can Exhibition Admission
DESCRIPTION:Discover history made by students as told by students. \nThis Civics Season\, pay as you can to step into Resilience Amid Resistance—a groundbreaking exhibit created entirely by Rockingham County high school students who dared to ask: “How can we right history?” (A play of the words: right and write.) \nThrough original research\, community interviews\, and visits to historic civil rights sites\, including the Moton Museum\, these young historians traced Virginia’s complex road to school integration from Reconstruction to today—while bringing to light empowering stories from Harrisonburg and Rockingham County’s own civil rights chapter. \nMuseum admission fees waived June 3 – July 5\, 2025
