SUMMARY:Juneteenth Celebration
DESCRIPTION:We’re excited to invite YOU to be part of the Third Annual Juneteenth Celebration at Holly Knoll. Come to the Moton Conference Center for a FREE celebration filled with food\, fun\, games\, raffle and door prizes\, a car show\, a fashion show\, music\, and more! We will have Devon M. All proceeds will be donated to the Gloucester and Mathews County chapters of the NAACP. \n*Suggested donation $40 Adults/ $20 Children (under 12)* \nThe Gloucester Institute (TGI) provides a peaceful place to restore and refresh innovators and trailblazers from diverse agencies that impact our global society. As a result\, it is our mission to train and nurture students who are emerging leaders across the country. TGI continues the work and memory of Dr. Robert Russa Moton\, the second President of Tuskegee Institute\, through programs\, activities\, and maintenance of his historic home\, Holly Knoll. A visit to this breathtaking property\, which is the birthplace of the United Negro College Fund\, engages all the senses capturing the history of the “cradle of the civil rights movement.”
